OBJECTIVES:

1. Understand the reasons for hoarding behaviors

2. Increase your knowledge of assessment tools used to determine the severity of chronic disorganization or hoarding

3. Learn the DSM 5 diagnostic criteria for hoarding

4. Review the criteria for trauma-related disorders, with insight as to whether unresolved trauma is a major contributing factor

5. Become familiar with assessment scales to diagnose and treat trauma

6. Participants will finish this training with ways (best practices) to intervene with these complex issues
